Dave2D vs MKBHD is the quiet one on the tech card. No warehouse builds, no bend tests. Dave Lee's channel says he makes "quality videos about useful tech." Marques Brownlee's says "Quality Tech Videos." Same promise, two corners. When we checked YouTube on October 26, @mkbhd had about 21.4 million subscribers and @Dave2D about 3.69 million, with 846 videos on the channel. That's close to six to one, and the card doesn't use it. Paste both handles on an Aura Duel card, read the gloves, and drop the /d/ link in the chat.
Qoks turns public creator signals into a fight ticket. It's a game, not a subscriber count, and it doesn't rate whose reviews are better. The card answers one question: whose YouTube aura is louder on the day you print?
Weigh-in: print the bout
- Open the prefilled card: @dave2d vs @mkbhd on YouTube.
- Check that both platform chips say YouTube. Use the main channels, not a podcast or shorts side channel.
- Print. Each corner gets an overall aura and five glove scores out of 100.
- Share the
/d/link. Every ticket is stamped when it's printed, so a reprint after a laptop launch week can move.
Pick your corner before the card loads. Calling it after the numbers show up doesn't count. If you want points and penalties for the whole room, use the influencer debate game rules.
The five gloves (Loyalty and Consistency decide this one)
Subscriber totals aren't on the card. These are:
- Growth: who is climbing right now. More in growth aura.
- Engagement: whether people answer in the comments. More in engagement aura.
- Consistency: who keeps uploading on a steady beat. Watch this one second. More in consistency aura.
- Chaos: clip-and-send energy, the videos that leave the app. More in chaos aura.
- Loyalty: whether viewers stay between uploads. Watch this one first. More in loyalty aura.
Why those two? The tech YouTube card says Loyalty and Consistency often matter more than Chaos on this ticket, and the channels explain why. Neither one runs on stunts, so Chaos probably won't split them. Loyalty asks whether a smaller audience that comes back for every laptop and phone review beats a much bigger one that shows up for launch day. Consistency asks who keeps a steadier upload rhythm through the slow months between big releases. Dave's channel has playlists simply called "Laptops!" and "Phones!", so you know where his corner lives.
Overall wins the bout. If the overalls tie, it's a draw unless the room agreed on a tiebreak first (most gloves won is the usual one). Full scoring notes are in how to read an Aura Duel.
We aren't printing a Dave2D vs MKBHD score in this post, and we aren't picking a winner. Your ticket decides.
MKBHD's house card (lost both gloves, won the bout)
Dave2D doesn't have a house poster yet. Marques does: MrBeast vs MKBHD, the YouTube house exhibition and the main event on the tech card. If you're in the Dave corner, this is the card to study.
On that exhibition card (labeled sample / heuristic), MKBHD takes the bout 43–57. He loses Consistency 41–36 and Loyalty 50–45, 5 points each, which are the two gloves this post tells you to watch. He wins Growth 47–68, Engagement 43–67 and Chaos 25–62. Every number is from the live /d/ page, and the footer still says "Admit one · not a real ranking."
What to take from it: Marques dropped both of this bout's key gloves and still won by 14, because his three wins were by 21, 24 and 37 points. So Dave's corner needs more than a narrow Loyalty or Consistency edge. If your print shows Dave taking those two, look at the Growth and Engagement gaps before anyone calls an upset.
Those are MrBeast's and MKBHD's bars. They don't tell you how Marques does against Dave, so print the bout.

Why this pairing works
Both corners review laptops and phones on YouTube and keep it calm, so this is a fairer fight than most. Marques has the bigger audience and the launch-day reach. Dave has a tighter lane built around laptops and phones. A subscriber screenshot ends the argument in one second without telling you much, so the card reads Loyalty and Consistency instead.
This bout is Undercard 2 on the tech YouTube Aura Duels card night. Marques's other tech weigh-in is Linus Tech Tips vs MKBHD, and the wider YouTube field is in best YouTube creator rivalries 2026. Want to keep going? Seed an influencer bracket with Dave, Marques and Linus and send the winners through. If the chat keeps asking who's "more popular," who is more popular explains why the card reads signals, not headcount.
Roast the bars, not the people
Keep it on the card. Tease a low Consistency bar or brag about a big Loyalty number. Leave their looks and private lives out of it, and don't post a losing ticket in either creator's comments. House rules: Aura Duel is a roast, not hate. Ways to share without being weird about it: how to share an Aura Duel.
