CoryxKenshin vs Markiplier — Two Horror Let's-Play Corners on One Fight Card

CoryxKenshin vs Markiplier is the bout for Halloween eve: two YouTubers who built their channels screaming at horror games, Five Nights at Freddy's included. This post doesn't rank their jump scares. On YouTube, when we checked on October 30, @Markiplier had 39M subscribers and @CoryxKenshin had 24.8M. The card doesn't use that number either. Paste both handles on an Aura Duel card, read the gloves, and drop the /d/ link in the chat.

Qoks turns public creator signals into a fight ticket. It's a game. It doesn't count views on a FNAF playthrough and it won't crown a king of horror. The card answers a smaller question: whose YouTube aura is louder on the day you print?

Weigh-in: print the bout

  1. Open the prefilled card: @CoryxKenshin vs @Markiplier on YouTube.
  2. Check that both platform chips say YouTube. Use the main channels, not clip, podcast or fan channels.
  3. Print. Each corner gets an overall aura and five glove scores out of 100.
  4. Share the /d/ link. Every ticket is stamped when it's printed, so a reprint after a big Halloween upload can move.

Pick your corner before the card loads. Calling it after the numbers show up doesn't count. If you're running this at a watch party, the influencer debate game has rules for points and penalties.

The five gloves (Growth and Consistency decide this one)

Subscribers aren't on the card. These are:

  • Growth: who is climbing right now. Watch this one first. More in growth aura.
  • Engagement: whether people answer the uploads. More in engagement aura.
  • Consistency: who keeps uploading on a steady beat. Watch this one second. More in consistency aura.
  • Chaos: clip-and-send energy, the scream that ends up in every group chat. More in chaos aura.
  • Loyalty: whether viewers stick around between uploads. More in loyalty aura.

Why Growth? Cory's corner has a record of it. He was ranked the fourth top creator in the US in 2021 by subscriber growth, the same year his Friday Night Funkin' video became the fifth most-viewed video in the country. His channel passed 20 million subscribers on December 15, 2024, and it showed 24.8M when we checked. His fans even have a name: the Samurai.

Why Consistency? Look at the channel headers. On October 30, @Markiplier showed 5.9K videos and @CoryxKenshin showed 1.7K, about three and a half uploads from Mark for every one from Cory. Video count isn't the same as rhythm, but it tells you which corner lives on volume. Mark has made Let's Plays of every Five Nights at Freddy's entry for over a decade, and his first one, uploaded August 13, 2014, five days after the game came out, had passed 127 million views by February 2026. Cory is known for long breaks between uploads. He came back in December 2024 after 17 months away, with a video announcing his manga, Monsters We Make.

So: does a 5.9K-video catalog beat a smaller one with a record of fast growth? Growth and Consistency will argue about it on the card.

Overall wins the bout. If the overalls tie, it's a draw unless the room agreed on a tiebreak first (most gloves won is the usual one). Full scoring notes are in how to read an Aura Duel.

We aren't printing a CoryxKenshin vs Markiplier score in this post, and we aren't picking a winner. Your ticket decides.

The YouTube house card (how a ticket reads)

Neither creator has a house poster yet. YouTube does: PewDiePie vs MrBeast, one of the house exhibitions in the best YouTube creator rivalries roundup.

On that exhibition card (labeled sample / heuristic), PewDiePie takes the bout 59–49. Growth is close at 65–64 to PewDiePie. He also wins Engagement 61–46, Consistency 54–42 and Chaos 68–43. Loyalty ties at 48–48. Every number is from the live /d/ page, and the footer says "Admit one · not a real ranking."

What to take from it: Growth came down to one point, so it didn't decide anything. Consistency went to PewDiePie by 12 and Chaos by 25, and those rows carried a 10-point win. If Growth is that close on your Cory vs Mark print, look at Consistency next, then Chaos.

Those are PewDiePie's and MrBeast's bars. They tell you nothing about Cory or Mark, so print the bout.

Why this pairing works

Both channels grew on horror games. Cory made a series out of it, Spooky Scary Sunday, where he reacts to horror shorts. Mark took it to theaters with Iron Lung, the horror film he wrote, directed and starred in, released January 30, 2026. The subscriber gap (about 14M) is big enough that people screenshot it and small enough that it doesn't end anything. Who is more popular explains why the card reads signals, not headcount, and how to compare two influencers covers comparing any two accounts by hand.

Want more? Mark's other bout is the friendship card, Markiplier vs Jacksepticeye. Seed a Halloween influencer bracket with Cory, Mark and the rest of the YouTube rivalries card and send the winners through. For a streamer main event, there's Kai Cenat vs IShowSpeed.

Roast the bars, not the people

Keep it on the card. Tease a 1.7K-video count or brag about a big Growth number. Leave personal lives and old platform drama out of it, and don't post a losing ticket in either creator's comments. House rules: Aura Duel is a roast, not hate. Ways to share without being weird about it: how to share an Aura Duel.

FAQ

Who wins CoryxKenshin vs Markiplier on Aura Duel?
Whoever has the higher overall aura on the card you print. There's no house poster for this pair, so paste @CoryxKenshin and @Markiplier on /fight, set both chips to YouTube, and let that ticket decide.
Who has more YouTube subscribers, CoryxKenshin or Markiplier?
Markiplier. When we checked on October 30, 2026, @Markiplier showed 39M subscribers and @CoryxKenshin showed 24.8M. Subscribers aren't a glove on the card, though.
Which gloves should I watch?
Growth and Consistency. Growth is who is climbing right now. Consistency is who keeps uploading on a steady beat. Overall still picks the winner.
Is this about who's better at horror games?
No. The card reads public YouTube signals. It doesn't know who beat which Five Nights at Freddy's night, and it isn't trying to settle that argument.
Can I use the PewDiePie vs MrBeast numbers?
No. That's the YouTube house exhibition, 59–49 PewDiePie. It shows how a YouTube ticket reads. Cory and Mark get their own bars when you print.
Is this a real ranking of CoryxKenshin and Markiplier?
No. Aura Duel is a playful fight card built from public signals. House posters say sample / heuristic when a platform blocks a live scrape, and every /d/ page footer reads "Admit one · not a real ranking."
